If Valentine’s Day is getting you in the mood to plan a little love travel, think beyond the usual suspects of Hawaii and Mexico. Seven Stars resort in Turks and Caicos aims to grab your attention by offering 40% off  with its “Couples Escape“—an enticing getaway whether you’re already in love or hoping to get to that state in your relationship extra fast.

Deal: The package for two starts at $450 per night (pre-tax, with a two-night minimum). Here’s what it includes, with the component prices in parentheses to show the savings:

  • accommodations in an oceanfront Junior Suite ($390)
  • welcome cocktails ($16), dinner for two ($100 not including alcohol)
  • daily continental breakfast ($30)
  • an in-suite couples massage ($240)

With this package, guests save $326, or a little bit more than 40%. If you don’t want all the bells and whistles and would prefer to simply purchase the room on its own, the Winter Special Getaway offer has rooms priced at $390 per night, pre-tax, through March 31. (The website shows the regular room rate as $650 per night during winter, Dec. 16-April 15.)

When: Available through April 30.

How to get there: I found round-trip flights between LAX and Providenciales (PLS)  in February that cost $600-$630 per person on Kayak or Orbitz (American Airlines, Delta, US Airways)
