Seven Stars Resort, Turks & Caicos appoints Kyle Kingrey as a new executive chef

Providenciales, Turks & Caicos (September 16, 2013) – Seven Stars Resort, located on the island of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, announces the appointment of Kyle Kingrey as its new Executive Chef. Chef Kingrey brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to his new position, where he will direct and oversee the resort’s culinary experience across all three restaurants, as well as private events.

Prior to joining Seven Stars Resort, Kingrey was the Chef de Cuisine at well-known New York restaurant, Beauty & Essex, where he not only managed the staff but also played an integral role in menu creation. Before his time at Beauty & Essex, Kingrey held positions at various resorts including The Buccaneer in St. Croix where he served as Executive Chef and The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ where he held a Sous Chef position. In addition to the resort experience Kingrey brings to Seven Stars, he has also made several television appearances and held various chef positions at notable restaurants around the world including Lavo, Las Vegas; Villa Madeline, St. Croix; and Vespa Bar, New York.

At Seven Stars Resort, Kingrey said he looks forward to utilizing local ingredients and developing seasonal menus that enhance the resort’s award-winning dining options, which include:  

  • Seven, an exceptional culinary experience, featuring a blend of international flavors, spices and techniques along with the island’s freshest seafood and steak.
  • The Deck, an oceanfront, al fresco restaurant – recently expanded  3,300 sq. ft – where guests can enjoy island-inspired light fare, sundowners, mojitos and local brews overlooking Grace Bay.
  • The Sand Dollar, offering pool- and beach-side service, Seven Stars staff serves refreshing cocktails and delightful lunch fare selections prepared with the freshest ingredients.
  • ‘Toes in the Sand’ Dinner, the resort’s famous candle-lit dinner offers a dining experience like no other, two can enjoy artfully prepared courses served directly on Grace Bay beach. 
  • Special Event Catering, from weddings to birthdays and every milestone in between, Seven Stars’ chefs can create custom menus – simple or elaborate – for up to 200 guests.
  • Beach BBQ and Bonfire, every Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. guests can dance in the sand to live entertainment and watch the sun set over Grace Bay while enjoying signature drinks and Caribbean-inspired menu items.
